This is one of my favorite photos. From the rooftop terrace, I could see that the sun would soon be at just the right angle to shine straight down the alley. All I had to do then was wait for someone photogenic enough to walk into the scene. It’s amazing, by the way, how fast the sun seems to move when you really wish it wouldn’t. With a digital camera, I would’ve just taken two hundred shots and picked the best one afterwards. Shooting on film is a bit trickier, so I had to be confident enough to settle for just three frames. One ended up overexposed, another had an awkward shadow...by chrisvomradio
